How weird that you mentioned that thing about dying being like falling asleep – that’s exactly how I think of it! I’m not really afraid of dying because I used to be very depressed and suicidal so I thought of death as a relief. Giving up my belief in souls actually helped this because now I feel (as) certain (as I can be) that this is my only life so I might as well get something out of it while I’m here.
