In this installment, I talk about the final booking (but not the final show) of the tour in Oklahoma City.  I also talk about Curt’s comment about the infield fly rule which leads to a few minutes of vaguely incoherent baseball babbling, and about out awesome the people in Sacramento are.

PS: I think this makes me sound like I’m way more against the IFR than I actually am. Sort of a thought experiment? I don’t know, it is late and I should sleep.

Hey Sam, I’m sure the show’s fans will not want to hear any more about the infield fly rule, but just between you and me, I wanted to clear up one thing you said on the podcast I listened to this morning. You mentioned that my son stayed on second base while the ball was in the air because there was an expectation of the infield fly rule, but that’s not the case. Assuming that the shortstop has the ability to either catch the ball, or intentionally drop it, he gets an easy double-play either way. If my son had… Read more »
