First time watcher… One question about Aspartame. You do realize it is dangerous to some children? Read the actual warning label http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame also, consider another sweetener: Cyclamates that were outlawed around the same time Aspartame was approved: using bogus “science” Interestingly, cyclamates are legal in most other countries in Europe and Canada. You can even buy it online, but shipping is expensive… Cyclamates have no warnings because they don’t cause seizures in susceptible children, like Aspartame does. So why are cyclamates outlawed by the FDA??? because Searle, is connected with Rumsfeld? who was politically powerful at the time they were… Read more »
Here is additional infor:http://www.shapefit.com/sugar-substitutes-cyclamate.html Although the FDA has stated that a review of all available evidence does not implicate cyclamate as a carcinogen in mice or rats cyclamate remains banned from food products in the United States. Snopes.com has a page on Aspertame as well, with citations from the FDA, the British medical journal, the Lancet and others.
Multiple question marks are questionable.
Hi Helen,
Let’s not forget that the original claim by Dr Stanley Monteith (interviewed in the Jesse Ventura show) was that aspartame was a poison that affects fertility and harms every organ in the human body.
He also claims that there is scientific proof of this, but I couldn’t find any.
The “Conspiracy Theory” show is factually and ethically bankrupt.
