re: Mike’s question about how Catholics feel about supporting child abuse with their funds Perhaps they feel there is no choice. For example, I am a conservation activist, but live in Japan. The government redirects some of my tax money, including some that was supposed to be for tsunami reconstruction, to their horrific whaling fleet, which is a money-loser and requires government money to literally stay afloat.
