I have this theory that people unfamiliar with anything but their religious notions have to go through x number of “spit responses” before they calm down and actually hear what we’re about. Whenever I get a spit response (where I feel spit upon even a little) I chalk it up as one less that person has to go through before they are able to listen. You did your job.
