There’s something slightly racist about the ‘ancient aliens’ hypothesis. They claim the aliens built the pyramids, drew the nazca lines and Chichen Itza, because obviously those primitive non-whites couldn’t have figured it out themselves and built it themselves. They ofcourse don’t use these words, but that’s what is implied. Nobody questions that the Romans really did build the Coloseum, or that the ancient britons really built Stonehenge, but when it comes to non-whites, suddenly it must have been the aliens. Two quick things on your last podcast. You mentioned the Hutaree militia, but almost all were acquitted of the crazy claims law enforcement were making and you never mentioned that. Only 2 were convicted of possessing automatic weapons and sentenced to time served. This is an example of government overreach, and the prosecution was admonished by the judge.
